We provide an R package and an S-Plus 8 package in two formats, both containing all the functions with full documentation. HH_2.1-29.zip (729KB) for R on Windows, HH_2.1-29_S_WIN386.zip (563KB) for S-Plus 8 on Windows, and HH_2.1-29.tar.gz (247KB) for Unix.
The HH package is available for R from CRAN and for S-Plus 8 from CSAN.
We provide the complete online files (including all input examples, output transcripts, and figures from the book) in two distribution formats. hh052509.zip (6.4MB) for Windows, hh052509.tar.gz (5.8MB) for Unix. The README gives detailed information about downloading the book's online files, unpacking the zipped file, and storing the resulting directory tree on your computer. README-052509.HH (10KB). The HH package is available for R from CRAN and for S-Plus 8 from CSAN. Sections of the book's Appendix B are therefore obsolete and are revised in this README file.

Windows users may need to download the following MSDOS executable files to unpack the online files. Unix users and Windows users with Cygwin will not need these files.
3. R users:
Our package and online files require a current release of R (2.5.1 released in June 2007 or a newer release).
A menu system for some of the functions in the HH package is available for R in the RcmdrPlugin.HH package. RcmdrPlugin.HH_1.1-24.zip (108KB) for R on Windows, RcmdrPlugin.HH_1.1-24.tar.gz (24KB) for Unix. RcmdrPlugin.HH is also available on CRAN.
Excel workbook files to support the forthcoming book
This is an R package for MS Windows that installs the files into R-2.7.1 or newer. The RthroughExcelWorkbooksInstaller package will be on CRAN once the book is out. Use of the Excel workbooks on Windows requires the installation of the R package RExcelInstaller from CRAN. These files are not available on other platforms.

4. S-Plus users:
The online files hh052509.zip (6.5MB) require S-Plus 7 or 8. The package HH_2.1-29.tar.gz (247KB) or HH_2.1-29_S_WIN386.zip (563KB) requires S-Plus 8.
5. Sample Graphs:
Two sample graphs, both written using the Trellis features of S-Plus or R, are available for viewing. Both plots were displayed in the JSM 2005 Short Course and were included in our half-day Tutorial at the 61st Deming Conference on Applied Statistics on December 5, 2005 in Atlantic City.
