Nanonet is the web site of Dr. Dmitri Romanov, Professor at the Department of Physics,
Temple University,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Welcome to my web site. It is designed to provide educational resources, to pique the imagination, and to share information about the interactions between physics, mathematics, chemistry, and engineering.  One focus of this page at the intersection of these related fields is operational control in nanoscale systems. As a theoretical physicist, I am particularly interested in expanding our knowledge about these components which tell us about elements at the atomic level. This is vital so that we can develop technologies which are smaller and more efficient. This technology holds the key to smaller pacemakers, better computers, and a host of other potential applications.

I hope you enjoy your visit. Please click here to provide me with your suggestions and comments about this page.
