Attendance and Class Participation

Class participation is part of the assessment scheme for this course. You will be graded on class participation. All students are expected to attend every class. Attendance will be taken. If for some reason you cannot be in class on a particular day, your absence will be registered as unexcused unless you have a legitimate reason for not being present.  This reason should be documented.  Students who accumulate more than three unexcused absences, will be penalized as follows:
