The anxiety builds as the days go on. I feel like I just started my college education and I am already one semester away from being a junior and one step closer to being the first-generation college graduate in my family. It seems I have been anticipating this time of my life since I was in middle school, and it is finally here.

After I spent countless hours and frustrations mastering Dreamweaver to build this site to showcase myself to potential employers I began to question myself. I asked what sets me apart from other college students in this same situation? What sets me apart from other internship candidates, potential employees, or graduate school applicants? I have handcrafted a brief list to answer this question.

1. My drive
2. My determination
3. And most importantly my pizzazz and enthusiasm.

            I am the student who gets out of bed at 7:00 a.m. for my 8:00 o’clock class with anticipation.
            I am the worker who begs her boss for a double shift at the restaurant I have worked at since I was 15.
            I am the student who all the professors know by name.
            I am the daughter who urges her mother to continue school.
            I am the student who has not missed one class even when I had to carry a barf bag in my backpack.
            And also, I am the person who is always planning for the future and using everyday to work toward her goals.
           
            My drive, determination, and pizzazz may be bothersome. Still, I am comfortable with myself and who I am and I am more than proud to say my name is Stephanie Klock, with a “K”, you know like the time.
