Welcome to my homepage!

My name is Mr. Chris Banks and I am a graduating senior at Temple University. I have created this page for my Design for Journalists class and this website will focus on mainly me and the things I like to do including community service and some of my other hobbies. Right now, I would like to give you a little info about myself.

 For starts, my major is Journalism with a deep concentration on Political Science .I chose these two as I feel that I am the perfect messenger of leadership and change, especially in the Philadelphia area where I was born and raised. Journalism gives me the ability to express my thoughts and Politics gives me the power to make them happen. I have an ultimate goal of being the Mayor of Philadelphia.

On another note, I have a big passion for listening to music mostly Rap and R&B, but I am open to all genres of music. Music opens your mind and thoughts to so much that you may not even know. My favorite music artist of all-time is Tupac Shakur (as you will see on my “interest” page).

Something that a lot of people don’t know, but as you will tell, I am somewhat of a geek for cartoons and comics, especially Marvel Comics. My favorite comic hero is Deadpool as seen on the background wallpaper on a few pages of the site.

Lastly, I am a very active person who enjoys sports a lot. From football, track, basketball, to simply working out to stay in shape.  I dedicate a wide portion of my life, to keeping fit and couldn’t imagine my body in any shape.

That’s a small introduction to the mysteries of Mr. BANKS and hopefully the rest of the website will give you more.
