Appel Farm

AppeL Farm is located in Elmer, New Jersey.  Starting in 1998, I attended the summer arts camp until 2003, skipping 1999.  From 2002 to 2003, I was a Counselor in training, an experience I will never forget.  At Appel farm, you choose a major and two minors to study for 4 weeks at the sleepaway camp.  Until 2002, my major was theater and my minors were percussion and then some other random art like jewelry making, video. film critique, piano, voice, sketch comedy, etc.  In 2002, I began to help teach percussion, and that became my major as well as my two minors which equates to 4.5 hours of percussion lessons and ensembles a day PLUS practice time.  Quite a bit of time.  At appel farm, I made some of the best friends of my life, and I talk to them every day.  I can't wait until I am twenty, so I can work there myself.
