Communication and cooperation is critical to working out solutions for the Lorica Musculata
Because of that, I have taken the time to communicate with a number of lorica musculata enthusiasts and discuss several of the main issues regarding the lorica. I don't have time to respond to all the e-mails I get in detail, but those that touch on the important issues I try to post so individuals can get a sense of the things already discussed. In time I hope to have a message board, but again there is that whole limited time and resources thing. Hope these help.
Matthew Amt is the founder of Legio XX and he and I had a long exchange about the problems of making a lorica musculata and all the different issues as well as battling theories. It reads as a good primer on just about everything we need to talk about, so I reproduce the most significant exchanges here.

Letter 3 & My response
Bill Hunt is the one guy brave enough to actually try the impossible and make a lorica musculata. He is forming an officerÕs corps to complement many of the existing re-enactment groups. Here are some of his letters and concerns and links to some of his progress. We are thinking of forming a co-op to jumpstart our own project. If any are interested in volunteering please contact me.
