Biographical Sketch

Terry Halbert’s research and teaching is interdisciplinary, focusing on business ethics and employment issues. She has co-authored two texts: Law & Ethics in the Business Environment, (with Elaine Ingulli), in its Sixth Edition, and CyberEthics, in its Second. Halbert has developed industry-specific courses on tobacco and on gambling, in which undergraduates study each industry from several perspectives, including: history, sociology, law, ethics, economics, race/class/gender, literature and film. She has had lengthy experience in both administration and teaching in the University and FSBM Honors Programs. She has been teaching business ethics to Executive MBAs in Philadelphia and Tokyo. She has developed an online ethics course for the MBA program and a course investigating the controversy involving the possible siting of two casinos on the Philadelphia waterfront. In 1999, Halbert was a recipient of Temple University's Great Teacher award.
