The cellular medullary cord has many small lymphocytes and plasma cells (eccentric nuclei, abundant blue staining cytoplasm often with “Golgi ghosts”). The sinus has small lymphocytes and macrophages marked by abundant irregular pink cytoplasm with vacuoles.
