Parotid gland, Simple columnar epi. - low & high mag.
At low mag., purple enzyme-secreting endpieces and pink ducts with wide lumina are present. At high mag. is a duct of columnar cells whose nuclei are located in the mid to apical portions of the cells. Nuclei are not basally located due to basal infoldings of the plasma membrane and associated mitochondria hence, these are striated ducts.
