Simple squamous epithelium (endothelium) line blood vessels. Their flattened nuclei are present in vessels leading to the capillary tuft of the glomerulus. Surrounding the glomerular capillaries is Bowman’s capsule; its parietal layer is also a simple squamous epithelium with flattened nuclei.
