Biography
Seoki Lee received his M.S. in both Hospitality Business and Accounting from Michigan State University, and Ph.D. in Hospitality Management from the Pennsylvania State University. He also passed an examination of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). His research focuses on hospitality accounting and finance issues including followings: a) internationalization, b) corporate social responsibility, c) revenue management, d) diversification strategies, e) firm and property valuation, f) capital structure and risk measures, and g) firm performance measures. Also, he has researched educational topics in hospitality programs.
His paper and presentation on the lodging stock undervaluation issue received a Best Paper Award in the annual International CHRIE (Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education) conference in Finance and Accounting area. He also serves as a treasurer for the Association of Hospitality Financial Management Educators (AHFME) and has made several presentations at their annual conferences.
