- Ofoto is a Kodak site where you can publish your pictures. They give you a password that you can distribute to friends who then pay the site host for reprints.
- Charles Daney's Photography Pages has a large list of links to all kinds of photography material.
- Ronald Parr's digital photography FAQ has a wide variety of information including stuff on cameras, software, editing techniques, printing, etc.
- Ink Permanence - real research on inkjet printers and the permanence of their inks (number of years before noticeable fading or color changes).

This site is self-described as an '...interactive community...'. It has a lot of tutorial info, especially relevant to Canon DLSR users. You can set up an account and share your portfolio. The site uses a lot of Flash technology so it can be slow on older systems.

- Picupine - is a free picture sharing service. You upload pictures and it creates a slideshow that you can share with others. Pretty easy to use.
- Digital Camera - magazine published in the UK.
- Digital Photography School Blog - has interesting and informative blog entries.
- Adorama Academy has material covering a variety of subjects including technique and equipment.
- DIY Photography.net has a lot of material on building equipment to assist in lighting your subject.
- Epic Edits Weblog has material aimed at the hobbyist.
- Dodging and Burning with Photoshop - the technique can be used with other editing software that uses layers.
