When you start up Netscape, the software goes out into the Web to locate its default document and
displays it.
You can change this default to any destination that you want. Some folks use the Yahoo home page
because it has links to the new and cool sites. In any case, follow the steps below to personalize your
initial page or go to
SimpleHelp for more up-to-date instructions.
Using Netscape:
- Visit the page that you want as your default and click on the Edit button in the menu bar at the top of the
screen.
- On the drop-down menu, click on Preferences.
- In the 'Navigator' section, click on the button that says "Use Current Page".
- Click on OK.
Using Internet Explorer:
- Visit the page that you want as your default and click on the Tools button in the menu bar at the top of the
screen.
- On the drop-down menu, click on Internet Options.
- Click on the button that says "Use Current".
- Click on OK.
