secret agent X-9 and dr. hoenikker present an experiment in sound...

one night locked deep within asylum 1040, X-9 and hoenikker developed a new class of aural assault. with some pedals, a drum machine, a guitar, a keyboard, a sampler, spoons, cups, blinds, cats, and even harnessing the power of the rain, a virtual sound explosion burst forth from the dank rubber room deep within the asylum.

idiots at the knobs is the first record of their experiments to be unearthed by the ice 9 collective. after 5 hours and several doses of inebriant, the four tracks and twenty-two minutes of this travesty were completed.
