Mercedes Delgado is an Assistant Professor in the Department of General and Strategic Management at the Fox School of Business. Professor Delgado serves as a Senior Institute Associate at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at the Harvard Business School. Before joining Temple University, she completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness and at the NBER’s Innovation Policy and the Economy Group. Professor Delgado’s research focuses on the relationship between industry clusters and the performance of firms, regions, and countries; the agglomeration patterns of innovative firms; and country competitiveness.
Fields of specialization: International Business and Business Strategy, Regional and Urban Economics, Industrial Organization and Applied Econometrics
