Fox School
of Business and Management Prior to her Full-time appointment as Instructor at the Fox School of Business in 2001, Mary held high level positions (with direct P & L responsibility including President, CEO, CFO/Treasurer) with several small, area firms (Annual sales ranging from $1M to $20M). She specialized in working with businesses seeking strategic and operational reorganization. These firms have included manufacturing, service and wholesaler oriented organizations. In addition to these managerial positions Mary had worked as a Consultant for several organizations identifying, developing and implementing management projects. For two years she worked with a US Federally Funded program designed to improve the ability of small manufacturing companies to combat the negative impact of global competition in domestic markets. Areas of concentration included new product and/or market development, identification and assessment of the impact of technology on manufacturing activities and the introduction of strategic planning processes. Additionally she had worked for two years successfully designing and implementing management control systems designed to improve profitability and cash flow. These projects focused on materials handling, management and scheduling as well as manpower scheduling and supervision/management for both manufacturing and service organizations. Mary received her Masters of Business Administration in International Business and Marketing from Temple University in May of 1981. She had earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Temple University in August of 1979. She had previously (1992-2001) taught for the Marketing Department on a Part-Time Basis. |
