Yinghong Zhang became an Accounting doctoral student in 2003. She received a B.A. in Economics from Peking University, China. Then she obtained a M.Phil in Accounting from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where her thesis concentrated on the value-relevance of financial disclosures in the Chinese capital market. Later, she pursued a M.Acc. degree in the University of Oklahoma. She earned full assistantships from both universities. After the graduation, she worked as an accountant in a private company for one year. In her spare time, she likes to read, cook, and get along with friends. Ying's coauthored article recently appeared in Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory. |

Karen McDougal, CPA, is a Ph.D. candidate in accounting. She is a KPMG doctoral scholar at Temple University. She holds an M.B.A. in Taxation from Widener University and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Temple University, where she graduated with honors. She has over 10 years of professional experience in the areas of public accounting, internal auditing and financial analysis working for various CPA firms, private companies and Not-For-Profit entities. Karen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Accounting Association. She teaches financial accounting and managerial accounting courses to undergraduate students. Her current research interests include auditor reporting, international accounting and value relevance of accounting information.Karen recently joined the faculty of Saint Joseph's University. |

EunYoung Whang joined the Ph.D. program in Fall 2004. She earned her B.B. in Accounting, MBA from Western Illinois University (with a concentration in Finance and International Business), and MAS from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests are in auditing and financial accounting. She likes to spend her free time web surfing and traveling. |

Chunwei Xian joined the Ph.D. program in Fall 2004. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in management from Shandong University (China). She has worked as an auditor in a CPA firm in China and has taught accounting courses in Shandong Normal University. Her current research interests include auditing, financial accounting, and international accounting.

Fang Sun |
Fang Sun became an Accounting doctoral student in Spring 2007. She earned her MBA degree from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management, and a B.S. in Geochemistry from the Northeast University of China. Her current research interests include pension accounting, executive compensation, auditing, capital market, and international accounting. In her spare time, she likes to surf the internet, practise Pingpang, and play Guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument. |

Erica Harris |
Erica Harris, CPA, joined the Ph.D. program in Fall 2006 with a specialization in accounting. She holds an M.B.A. in Managerial Accounting and Controllership from the University of Miami and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida, where she graduated with honors. She has over 6 years of professional experience in the areas of public accounting, controllership and financial analysis working for KMPG LLP, private companies and Not-For-Profit entities. Erica has also taught Financial Accounting I, Financial Accounting II, and Managerial Accounting serving as adjunct faculty at multiple universities and colleges over the past four years. In her spare time Erica enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and volunteering in her community. |

Yunsheng Chen |
Yunsheng Chen joined the Ph.D. program in Fall 2007. She earned her BS and MS degrees in Money and Banking from National Chengchi University, Taiwan. Before joining Temple University, she was an exchange student in Norway. Yunsheng loves nature and enjoys making soaps during free time. Her research interests are in financial accounting and auditing. |

HakJoon Song |
HakJoon Song joined the Ph.D. Program in Fall 2007. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Korea University and MBA degree (Concentration : Accounting and Finance) from University of Minnesota. He worked for SK Telecom, the biggest wireless service provider in Korea, mainly at investment management and corporate finance area and taught introductory financial accounting course at Myonggi college. His research interests are in financial accounting, corporate governance and auditing. |

Ki Kyung Song |
Ki Kyung Song joined the Ph.D. program in Fall 2007 with a specialization in accounting. She earned an MA in Business Administration (concentration: Accounting) from Sogang University and an MS in Accounting and Financial Management from Temple University. She has passed the CPA exam. Prior to coming to the U.S., she worked as an assistant researcher for a research team sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Education. She is a recipient of the Sigma Tau Phi Graduate Award in Accounting at Temple. A business case she developed won second place in the National Competition of Business Case Development in Korea.

Paige Gee, CPA joined the PhD program in fall 2008. She is an AICPA Doctoral Fellowship recipient and a Temple University Fellow. She holds a Masters in Accounting and a B.S. in Mathematics Education from North Carolina State University. She has over ten years of professional experience in the areas of public accounting, corporate accounting, federal, state and local taxation and non-profit accounting for various CPA firms, private companies and non-profit entities. She is a member of the AICPA and American Accounting Association.

Hsiaotang Hsu joined the Ph.D. program in Fall 2008. He holds his LL.M. in Taxation from London School of Economics and Political Science and an M.B.A. in Accounting, a B.A. in Accounting and a LL.B. in Commercial Laws from National Chengchi University, Taiwan. He is a CPA (Taiwan) and a Patent Agent (Taiwan). Before joining Temple University, he was a consultant of international and EC tax in PricewaterhouseCoopers, Taiwan. His research interests are in financial accounting and taxation.

Shaopeng Li joined the Ph.D. Program in Fall 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Nanjing University, China. His research interests are financial accounting, financial markets, and management accounting. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books and swimming.

Keval Amin joined the Ph.D. program in Fall 2009. He holds a B.S. degree in Accountancy from the College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College). Prior to joining Temple, Keval was an auditor with Deloitte LLP. He also has work experience with several other firms. His research interests are in Auditing and Financial Accounting. Keval enjoys good books, outdoor activities, travel, art, and music. |

Qian (Ceci) Feng joined the Ph.D. program in Fall 2009. She completed an M.B.A. in Accounting from Temple University in 2009 and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Xi'an Jiaotong University (China) in 2007. After moving to the US in 2007, she worked for a global public company and a professional consulting group. |
