About Asian Cinema Journal
Asian Cinema has published continuously since Vol. 7 (1995), serving as a key resource for Asian film researchers and teachers. Appearing twice yearly, the journal includes research articles, essays, interviews, symposia, book and film reviews, and bibliographies. All types of Asian films are featured, including full-length movies, documentaries, animation, and experimental.

Manuscripts are always welcomed. They can be sent via email attachment or CD Rom. Manuscripts should be doublespaced with pages numbered consecutively. 12 point Roman type is preferred. A separate sheet should be sent with author’s postal address to enable us to send a copy of the journal when it is published.
Asian Cinema welcomes ideas for special topic symposia. Examples of past symposia dealt with documentary film, animation, Satyajit Ray, teaching Asian cinema, globalization and Asian film, the nation in Chinese film, pioneers of Asian film study, and Southeast Asian cinema. (See Cumulative Index).
