Biography

 Iis P. Tussyadiah is a lecturer at School of Tourism & Hospitality Management and affiliated with National Laboratory for Tourism and eCommerce, Temple University, USA. Iis received her PhD degree in Human-Social Information Sciences from Tohoku University, Japan and received Dean’s Award for excellent performance in doctoral studies. Her dissertation is on advanced travel destination choice models.

Iis has published articles in tourism journals and edited books. Her recent publications can be found in Journal of Travel Research, Annals of Tourism Research, and Tourism Review International. Her current research interests include technology-assisted mediators for tourism experiences, narrative marketing in tourism and hospitality, tourists’ spatiotemporal behavior and tourist-activated networks, and urban tourism.
