Dave: But beyond that, Watergate.

Frank: That's what she...That's what she said.

Dave: Yeah, yeah. It's funny, but Nixon decided on his own that it would be good if it....So did Kennedy. So did Roosevelt. So did a lot of these guys. And I daresay that Laura would never have done it. Never in a million years would she have. Nor would you have liked it if she had. [Pause] Well, you might have liked it. You might have. But...all right, maybe that's the saving grace. Maybe. But I remain to be convinced.

Frank: Well, there's a significant difference between what I did and Watergate. [Laughs]

Dave: [Laughs] Of course. [Laughs]

Frank: Mainly that the use of this tape was solely to be between the persons who made it. Now, in that sense I was tricking Laura, but I was tricking her in a way that would not have remained--[enter Laura and Jean]
