| SINCE COMING TO Temple University in 1960, I have published extensively, taught communication both here and as a visiting professor, guest lectured in the U.S. and abroad, been a frequent media commentator, and served university and community via conferences, book and journal editing, political activism, and organization-building. But, while this website contains an abbreviated VITA, it is designed not so much as a record of my accomplishments as to provide a set of resources that web browsers can use in accessing key writings and instructional materials, and in learning how to tap my know-how for future purposes. These are likely to include guest lectures and media commentary on post-9/11 political rhetoric, educational consulting modeled on the work I've done with the Temple Issues Forum (TIF), as well as service through 2007 as a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Political Communication. |
