Cheryl L. Doughty

Cheryl is currently a senior biology major in Temple University's undergraduate program.  In the Cordes lab she assists Andrea Quattrini in researching community phylogenetics of Callogorgia in the Gulf of Mexico by extracting DNA from tissue samples, amplifying the DNA and preparing them for sequencing.  Because of her interest in the lab's research and her fascination of marine environments, she wishes to study a related field while attending graduate school after graduation.
