| Did you ever want to visit some place where your biggest worry was if the coffee pot was full? The best places you can go are those that are quiet and tranquil. The Fourth Estate offers the best of everything. The fresh Adirondack air is all around you in this New York state home. The house is on the shore of the Schroon River, which twists and turns into Schroon Lake. At the lake you can really let the adrenaline flow, with water sports such as water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, tubing, or even just riding around in a boat. In the winter there are also many things to keep your self occupied. You can choose to snuggle up on the couch next to the warm fireplace drinking hot chocolate and play board games OR you can be more adventurous at the local ski spots like Gore Mountain or snow mobiling in the local forests. |

The house will make you feel right at home. The quaint Town of Chester is just a few minutes away. Be careful, if you blink you might miss it. In town, you'll find convenience at your finger tips. Any needs from groceries, library, hotels, resturants, old time bakeries, bars and schools are right around the corner from one another. There are also cute shops to pick out some genuine Adirondack artifacts! |
Lake George is only 20 minute drive away. Lake George is famous for its main street amenities, such as resturants and shops. It also houses an variety of amusement parks. The Fourth Estate is just 45 minutes to the Saratoga Race Track. Lake Placid is about an hour north of the Fourth Estate. At Lake Placid you can visit the many shops, see where the olympics were held or just drive through the High Peaks Region of upstate New York. |
