HOME | RESUME Dr. Connie X. Mao is an associate professor of
Finance, specializes in corporate finance and investments. Particularly, she
is interested in studying the effect of ‘agency’ conflicts on the
financing decisions of firms and analyzing how the resolution of these
conflicts influences the efficiency of security markets. Dr. Mao has
published papers in Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative
Analysis, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Journal of International Money
and Finance.
Dr. Mao has been named to the Fox School Dean's Research Honor
Roll, a receipt the Andrisani-Frank Undergraduate Teaching Award in 2007, and
a recipient of the FMA Outstanding Finance Professor Award in 2008.
