Welcome! Hi! My current teaching portfolio includes: Entrepreneurial Thinking in the MBA Program; Fundamentals of Strategic Management in the Executive MBA Programs in Philadelphia and Tokyo; Business Policy and Administration, the capstone course in the evening MBA Program; and Administration of Strategy Seminar in the Doctoral Program. My research writings have appeared in: I have co-authored two books: High Performance Management Strategies for Entrepreneurial Companies [1991] and Corporate Governance and Timeliness of Change -- Reorientation in 100 American Firms [1998]. I am currently, working on my third book: "Venturing in to e-business with brick and mortar: Strategies for building Internet-based ventures." At the Fox School served in several leadership positions: Chair of General & Strategic Management Department for seven years [1995-99; 1990-1993]; Founding Executive Director of the Institute of Global Management Studies [IGMS] [1997-99]. The Institute has since been awarded the status of CIBER (Center for International Business Education & Research); negotiated the revival and transfer of the Journal of International Management from Thunderbird to the Fox School and served as co-editor of the Journal [1998-2000]; served as National Program Chair for the U.S. [representing the Academy of Management] for Montreal 2000 Meetings of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management [IFSAM]. IFSAM meetings were held in Montreal on July 8-11, 2000 in conjunction with the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada's annual meetings. As founding Executive Director of IGMS, organized two major conferences at the Fox School: Managing Financial Risks and Opportunities in Asian Markets [April 1998] [Proceedings of the conference were published as supplement to the Journal of International Management, Volume 4, Number 1. ]; Cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions -- Regional and Global Perspectives [April 1999].
