| This awning was made of
light, soft dacron, maybe 4 oz. It can be stuffed in a small camper's
stuff bag -- 8" x 18" (more or less). It uses no poles. It
stows easily.
It is supported by lines with snaps that go around both masts, main and mizzen capshrouds, lifelines, and a centerline bridle lifted by the main halyard. On each side, between the forward to the aft corners, I made a long, narrow pocket, in which I put 1/4" dacron (low stretch) line. This line is tensioned and helps keep the portion of the cover over the side decks elevated. Back to Rhodes
