Design #462, 38'10" x 27' x 9'9" x 5'10" aux sloop, 1941 This boat was designed for
Donald Abbott, as a stock boat, built by Palmer Scott & Co. in New
Bedford MA. She has 2" more beam than the R27, but otherwise is about
the same size.
This Weekender, named Spray,
was built in 1947. The hull is 1" Philippine Mohogany. Topsides
are 7/8" Philippine Mahogany. Frames are laminated white oak,
1 1/2" x 1 1/2".
