| Water Witch was built in
1951, by Martin Bros. in Mentor, Ohio. Originally she had a 7/8 rig
with running backstays; the photography shows she has been re-rigged to
a masthead.
I owned her from 1969 until 1976, and changed her name to PAULETTE. She then went to California and I believe she is now in Bainbridge Island, Washington where she was re-named WATER WITCH again. <brucie@earthlink.net> WATER WITCH later dragged
anchor in a storm in a small harbor in the Sea of Cortez (Mexico) and was
lost on the rocks in 2004.
