Temptress

Rhodes design number 634
32' x 22' x 8'6" x 4'6"
stock aux. sloop "Temptress" for Reisinger Marine Sales - 1955.

These mahogony hulled sloops were built in Holland in  the mid 1950's.  Temptress has a 'Ranger' profile, but is more like a 'Chesapeake 32' in size. At least some had Atomic 4 engines.

I've also got the *original* sales literature from Reisinger's Marine in Tappahannock.  (I can send it as a .pdf file, if interested.)  Mine is hull #3 and was used by Reisinger's as a demo boat as it were for a planned fleet.  Don't know how many were ever built.  More that likely, they sold the demo model when anticipated sales didn't materialize.
