| Tivet may have been hull
# 1 of this (#390) design. She was purchased by Fred S. in
1940 in Florida and sailed back to Norfolk VA. Fred raced her successfully
in Chesapeake Bay races for 27 years. He sold her in 1967, gauging that
she was loosing her competitive edge, compared to fiberglass boats.
Her next owner sailed her
back to Florida and kept her at Key West.

This pretty sloop, now called
Gannet, was built 1959 and has been sailing in Lake Michigan.
There is a good chance she
is design #390.
