Froya II

Design #784    50'2" x 35' x 12'7" x 7'1" (1966)

Froya II is one of Rhodes' last ocean racers. She has a flush deck with a deckhouse and has a second companionway amidships, almost obscured by the boom, so the aft cabin can have privacy in port.

Carefully built of wood in Norway, Froya II is in fine shape after almost 40 years and is now sailing in Brazil.  Her new name is Soamanha (Not Before Tomorrow).

The "old world" chart table dominates the aft cabin as one comes down the companionway. The galley is amidships, and flows into a classic main cabin with table, lower extension transoms, and pilot berths.
