ceLIBration schedule
Here are all the events and times - plus a description
WHEN: Friday, August 29 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
WHERE: Paley Library - Enter at the Bell Tower Entrance
3 pm - ceLIBration begins. Meet the greeter in the Paley Library lobby to get more information; a limited number of free tickets to the Pearl movie theatre will be given away to our first group of guests.
3 pm - 4 pm – See the greeter to sign up for the Guitar Hero competition - limited to 15 players. The winner walks away with a $100 gift card prize.
3 pm – Our DJ will start playing music to fuel ceLIBration. Grab some food and enjoy the tunes.
3:30 pm – be there for our first raffle
3:30 pm – "Mom! Dad! I need help with my research paper!" - come to this 30 minute session for parents. A Paley reference librarian will let you know how to help your student when college research papers seem an impossible task. Room 130 on the Mezzanine Level.
3:30 pm - Love movies? Visit the "Secret Cinema" - a Philadelphia favorite. Movie collector Jay Schwartz will share short classics from his extensive movie holdings. Grab some popcorn. Lecture Hall - lower level
3:30 – 4:00 – If you think you know Temple University play our quiz game - you could win a prize. By the DJ's table.
4:00 - Time for our second "Mom! Dad! I need help with my research paper!" In Room 130.
4:30 – be there for our second raffle
4:30 - 5:30– Calling all Guitar Heroes. The only competition that matters begins now. Who will win the $100 and be this year's reigning Guitar Hero champ?
4:30 - "Mom! Dad! I need help with my research paper!" Be there for our third and final session.
5:35 – be there for our third and final raffle of the afternoon - you could win some great prizes.
