Associate Professor of Actuarial Science and Risk Management, Insurance and Health Management

Director of the Undergraduate Program in Actuarial Science.

 

Current Courses: 

Introduction to Actuarial Science, Theory of Interest, Actuarial Modeling I (Life Contingencies), and Actuarial Science 61 (Review for Exam P/Exam 1). 

 

Current Committees: University Faculty Senate Steering Committee, FOX School CAFSBM Steering Committee, Honors Oversight Committee.

 

Awards:  FOX School:  Andrisani – Frank Outstanding Teaching Award 1998, Musser Excellence in Faculty Service Award 2001, FOX School Service Award 2002

 

Publications:  Text Books, Mathematics:  Problem Solving Through Recreational Mathematics (with Orin Chein - now a Dover Classic), and Applied Finite Mathematics, and Mathematics With Applications for the Management, Life, and Social Sciences (both with Bernard Kolman and Howard Anton)

Exam Preparation Study Manuals for actuarial examinations.
