Map, Directions and Parking

The conference will take place in Alter Hall, 1801 Liacouras Wlk, Philadelphia, PA 19122. Alter Hall is located on Temple University's main campus, at the intersection of 13th and Montgomery streets.

  • Parking Map

Paking is available on a cash basis in the following areas:

1. Vistor's Parking Area #2, located on Montgomery Avenue between 12th and 13th Streets and Temple Towers Area.

2. Vistor's Parking Area #3, located on Park Avenue between Cecil B. Moore Avenue and Oxford Street .

3. Liacouras Garage, located on 15th Street between Montogmery and Cecil B. Moore Avenues.

  • Getting to Conference Site (Alter Hall, Temple University campus) from Double Tree Hotel

Taxi Cab: Take a cab heading north on Broad Street for about 2-3 miles to Montogomery Avenue. Turn right on Montogomery. Alter Hall is the third building on the left. Take the elevator to the 7th floor.

Subway: Take Broad Street Line (Orange Line) North to Cecil B. Moore station.

The entrance to the subway is on the right as you exit the Double Tree Hotel. You may purchase tokens at a machine or from a representative in the kiosk.

Take the Orange Line north. Be sure to take only the local train, not the express. The local train will be on your right, on the outside track as you go downstairs (there are signs on the stairs as you descend).

When exiting the Cecil B. Moore station, take the stairs to the left, preceed straight on Broad Street (north) one block, then make a right on Montgomery Avenue. Alter Hall will be the third building on your left half-way down the block.

When returning to Center City, you must enter the subway on the opposite side of Broad Street taking the South bound train (NW corner of Cecil B. Moore Avenue in front of bookstore). You will exit at Walnut/Locust Streets. The Double Tree Hotel is at the corner of Locust and Broad Street.

 

  • Getting to the Conference Site (Alter Hall, Temple University campus) from Student Housing

When you exit the student housing, turn right and walk along Liacouras Walk. You will see a 7-11 store on the right hand side in about 1 minute (approximately 50 steps). Keep walking along Liacouras Walk for about 4 minutes south toward Montgomery Avenue (approximately 200 steps). You will see Alter Hall on the left hand side just before you reach Montgomery. Take the elevator to the 7th floor.
