Maverick broke her mooring in a fall storm in 2003, and grounded where the bottom had small stones. She was pulled into deeper water quite soon, was not leaking, and apparently suffered no serious structural damage. |
The wooden grounding shoe did its job of protecting the figerglass hull. |
