The Asian Studies Minor presumes some other major at Temple. Therefore students will need to meet the requirements of that major as well as the University Core requirements and the requirements of one of the colleges at Temple University. The "Asian Studies Major Requirements" page gives links to pages dealing with these requirements.

1) Two "Asian Studies Foundation Courses" (as defined in the requirements for the major).
2) Four additional Asian Studies courses. (One of the four may have predominately Asian-American content.)
3) Language: 2nd semester level of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Hindi.
Note: Language courses beyond the second semester may be used as "Asian Studies courses" to meet the requirements for the minor.
